BREAKING NEWS from CALGARY
(Center) D80 International Speech Champion - Arthur TingThe D80 Top Three Officers and Members including 2007-2008 District 80 International Speech Champion -Arthur Ting- have been at the 77th Toastmasters International Annual Convention in Calgary, Canada.
The 2008 Inter-District Speech Contest B, in which Arthur Ting had participated, was launched on Thursday, 14th August 2008, and the RESULTS are as follows:
1st Place - Loghandran Krishnasamy (District 51)
2nd Place - Sammy Su (District 67)
3rd Place - Koka Prasad (District 79)
Our Special Thanks go to ARTHUR TING for having represented District 80 – Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, and Thailand…Let’s together give him another THUNDER-STRIKING OVATION!!!
Past District 80 Governor Poh Kim Siong DTM with his Team has actively been canvassing for his candidature for INTERNTIONAL DIRECTOR. He has gracefully exposed himself as a Great Role Model – WE, at home, spiritually wish him a splendid bed of roses in the Toastmasters World!
