The Singapore 2008 District Semi-Annual Convention was just over on Saturday 22, November 2008, yet the exuberant moments of truth are still ringing in our memory...the feelings of true camaraderie and understanding!
THE CROWDED ROOM was being breathlessly silenced when the Contest Chairs, Aziz Mustajab DTM and Neil Sy ACS, were going to announce the contest results of the Humorous and Evaluation Speech Contests respectively. The three Winning Places of each Contest were being announced as follows:

The Hong Kong 2009 District80 Annual Convention is to be held in Hong Kong next May. The number of attendants are large in spite of the global financial crisis. This has proven that leadership spirit counts for all the SUCCESS regardless of situations.
I would like to admire District80 Public Relations Officer 1 Melanie Hoi ACS for having the courage to chair the 2009 Semi-Annual Convention in Macau during the world's financial crisis. Thank YOU for sharing the Great Spirit of Non-Profit Service Leadership!
